| WavSource.com strives to provide the best
free sound bites and editorial reviews on the Internet. The site contains over 2,000
movie sound clips from over 328 movies and over 2,800 sound clips
from over 80 TV programs, all in wav format, and the site contains an editorial review of
each movie and TV show. And that's just the entertainment content. The site also contains
at least 1,400 sound files from politics, history, news events, sports, animals, video games, comedians, and
sound effects. The entertainment audio files are chosen based mostly on two criteria: (1)
their ability to capture the spirit of
the movie or some pertinent aspect of the movie or TV program, thereby enhancing the editorial reviews,
and (2) their
ability to be utilized for certain computer or cell phone based functions, such as ringtones or computer
system events like start-up or shut-down. Many of the wav sounds at WavSource are particularly useful as
cell phone ring tones.
